Meet Your Presenter

Jordan is a medical speech-language pathologist working primarily with adults in the acute care setting. She graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2016 and currently works as a travel therapist. Prior to travel, she was employed for 3 years at the Medical University of South Carolina where she was a leader in developing and implementing protocols for the transition to active utilization of the International Dysphagia Diet Standardization Initiative. She is passionate about providing thorough patient care thereby optimizing patient outcomes and believes that open, direct communication and education for staff, patients, and caregivers are crucial to achieving this goal. Jordan has experience in acute care, sub-acute, skilled nursing, acute rehab and outpatient settings and is aware that positive change can often be difficult to initiate for a variety of reasons.
