Exercise Activities for Older Adults
Upper body strength is necessary in order to be able to maintain independence and for important tasks such as getting up from a chair and maintaining balance. Exercise can also help regulate blood pressure and diabetes and diminish symptoms of osteoporosis and arthritis.
