    Reading is a complex cognitive skill. Deficits in reading comprehension can negatively affect a person’s ability to complete functional activities such as read a letter, menu, recipe, and more. This activity is to target a person’s understanding of a news article and must be able to read at the paragraph level. A variety of questions can be asked in a yes/no format, with multiple choices, or open-ended.
