Social media content schedule:

First Tuesday of the month: Benefit of joining MSHA
Contributor: Membership Coordinator
Example of content: Did you know that MSHA members get access to discounted CEU opportunities? Our next CEU is (title) and is available for $X for non-members and $X for members. That’s a $X discount! MSHA membership costs less than $6/month (paid annually). (Highlight a different benefit every month- get creative, as there are many benefits not necessarily obvious or listed on the website!)

First Friday of the month: Scholarship announcements

Scholarship committee
Example of content: Highlighting a past scholarship recipient, announcing upcoming scholarship applications, reminding people of upcoming deadlines, highlighting where scholarship funds come from, thanking donors for contributions to scholarship funds, posting scholarship application essay prompts. It’s ok to repeat content every once in a while!

Second Monday of every month: School SLPs
Contributor: Professional Setting Group: Schools
Example of content: Anything related to school-based SLPs. The content does not have to directly relate to the work of the professional setting group- it just has to connect with school-based SLPs. It can be related to Montana or not. Highlight a free resource for school SLPs (always credit and link to original content creators), statements about important topics/discussions related to school-based SLPs, encouragement/inspiration for school-based SLPs, school-based SLP MSHA member highlight, etc.

Second Wednesday of every month: Private practice
Contributor: Professional Setting Group: Private Practice
Example of content: Anything related to private practice-based SLPs. The content does not have to directly relate to the work of the professional setting group- it just has to connect with private practice SLPs. It can be related to Montana or not. Highlight a free resource for private practice SLPs (always credit and link to original content creators), statements about important topics/discussions related to private practice SLPs, encouragement/inspiration for private practice SLPs, private practice SLP MSHA member highlight, etc.

Second Friday of every month: Medical SLPs

Highlight a free resource for EI SLPs (always credit and link to original content creators), statements about important topics/discussions related to EI SLPs, encouragement/inspiration for EI SLPs, EI SLP MSHA member highlight, etc.

Third Wednesday of every month: MSHA meeting notes

Example of content: Summarize the meeting into 12 or fewer bullet points. Provide a link to where people can access the full notes.

Third Friday of every month: Conference updates

Conference and Webinar Committee
Example of content: Update on conference planning (no detail is too small to be interesting!) Photos from past conferences. Quotes from past conference attendees (can be about anything related to the conference). Sneak peeks at upcoming speaker lineups, locations, schedules, etc. The point is to tease people with fun information about the conference throughout the year so that Montana SLPs are thinking about the conference the entire year- then when we announce that registration is open, they have positive thoughts about the conference and want to sign up.

Fourth Monday of each month: Month in review

Example of content: 10 or fewer bullet points of MSHA happenings that you think are important for members to know. Can be big things or small things.

Fourth Wednesday of every month: Public policy review
Contributor:
Public Policy Committee
Example of content: Simple, easy to read updates about any policy action that has taken place in the last month. Celebrate the small steps and the big wins!

Fourth Friday of every month: Foundation Fridays!
Contributor:
MSH Foundation
Example of content: Announcements, updates, etc from the foundation. Public thank yous to donors for their time, money, donations, etc. History of the MSH Foundation. How people can get involved. Opportunities for the public.
