Swallowing Recommendations Guide for Patients and Care Partners

Often, speech-language pathologists have many recommendations when it comes to swallowing but this information may be overwhelming for the patient or care partner to remember. This swallowing recommendation guide allows the SLP to quickly make checkmarks next to the personalized recommendation for the patient. There is also space for additional comments.

Literacy Pack: Bringing the Rain to Kapiti Plain

A cumulative rhyme relating how Ki-pat brought rain to the drought-stricken Kapiti Plain (Kenya). Verna Aardema has brought the original story closer to the English nursery rhyme by putting in a cumulative refrain and giving the tale the rhythm of “The House That Jack Built.”

Healthy Aging and Dementia: Findings from the Nun Study (2003)
