Bio: Troy graduated with his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from The University of Montana. He went on to receive his board certification as a neurologic clinical specialist. He serves as a clinician for the University of Montana Physical Therapy Clinic and as an adjunct faculty member for the school of physical therapy.
Troy specializes in treating patients who have neurologic impairments and those with complex medical diagnoses. He is a certified clinical instructor, and mentored over 40 DPT students in the clinic. His DPT teaching responsibilities include: Anatomy, PT and the Healthcare System, Neuroscience, Musculoskeletal Examination, Exercise Physiology, and Electrophysical Agents.

Teaching philosophy: As a mentor I seek to foster clinician growth in all areas. I focus on development of not only clinical reasoning, patient management, and productivity, but also provide strategies for personal growth and avoidance of burnout. As an educator, I am passionate about physical therapy, but I am even more passionate about education and clinician development. I love to teach with models, examples, and discussion.
