Bio: Dr. Sarah McCadden earned her master’s of science in occupational therapy from Shenandoah University and later obtained her post-professional doctorate of occupational therapy from Radford University Carilion with focus in education. She specializes in treatment of the adult and geriatric population. She has practiced in various settings including acute care, outpatient, home health, inpatient rehab and in skilled nursing facilities. Dr. McCadden has an extensive neurological background, treating the adult population with stroke, brain injury, and spinal cord injury. She also has experience as an OT manager in the inpatient rehab setting and recently transitioned to academia as a professor.
Current primary professional role: Assistant Professor at a health professions college in Virginia.
