Meet Your Presenter

Krysten Sears is a voice- and swallow-specializing speech-language pathologist of over five years. She completed her undergraduate studies in Communication Sciences and Disorders and Vocal Performance at Adelphi University, and her graduate studies in Speech-Language Pathology with a concentration in Voice Disorders at the MGH Institute of Health Professions. Krysten then went on to complete her clinical fellowship in the Veterans Administration system, and subsequently worked in a university hospital setting with the head & neck/ENT team (outpatient and inpatient). She is very excited to be transitioning to private practice voice and swallow in this next stage of her career.

Instructional Level

Introductory
Information is geared to practitioners with little or no knowledge of the subject matter. Focus is on providing general introductory information.

Target Audience

SLPs who provide or will provide voice therapy as it relates to the client’s gender identity.

Live Course Information

This course will be presented on the Zoom platform. High-speed internet connection is required.

Recorded Course Information

The course will be available for CEUs until December 28, 2026.
