Meet Your Presenter

Victoria is a pediatric speech therapist and Certified Neonatal Therapist with over six years of pediatric acute care and neonatal therapy experience. She works primarily in neonatal and pediatric intensive care units, in areas of infant feeding and swallowing. She is most passionate about family-centered care and empowering parents to become their infant’s expert feeders and advocates.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

  1. List components of a feeding evaluation.
  2. Describe three strategies to assist infants with feeding difficulty.
  3. Describe the International Dysphagia Diet Initiative (IDDSI) and how thickening variables can impact infant feeding and nipple flow rate.
