Course description: This course taught speech, occupational, and physical therapists how to define resilience, list three resilience lessons that relate to overcoming adversity, and list three strategies to increase resilience in the context of brain injury recovery. Using her 20+ years of brain injury recovery and research insights, Carole Starr taught how to move forward after a life-changing brain injury.

Carole Starr is a brain injury survivor, national keynote speaker, author of the award-winning book To Root & To Rise: Accepting Brain Injury and the founder/facilitator of Brain Injury Voices, a nationally recognized survivor volunteer group in Maine.

Duration: 1 hour.

Target audience: Speech, occupational, and physical therapists working in rehabilitation settings who are providing therapy for people who have survived traumatic brain injuries.

For Access Pass subscribers: In the event that a course is canceled or rescheduled, no cash refund will be provided to subscribers of the Access Pass. Therapy Insights will work to reschedule the event, or create a new event within the same month. Therapy Insights guarantees access to one live course per month to all subscribers. In the highly unlikely event that this commitment is not met, subscribers will receive a 50% refund for that month’s subscription cost. Subscribers who are on an annual payment plan will receive a pro-rated refund for 50% of the cost of that month.

All refunds will be provided within 30 days of time of cancellation.

In the event that a participant/subscriber registers for the live course and then cancels participation, no refund will be provided. The participant will have the opportunity to access the recorded presentation at no additional cost as part of their subscription or registration fee.
