Course description: Respiratory Muscle Training (RMT) is a device-driven therapy with a growing evidence base. In this course, participants will learn about applications of RMT in the treatment of oropharyngeal dysphagia.

Brooke Richardson, MS, CCC-SLP is a Medical Speech-Language Pathologist in Raleigh, NC, USA. She has more than 12 years of experience treating adults with complex medical needs in the acute and outpatient settings. She has been instrumental in establishing Respiratory Muscle Training (RMT) programs in multiple healthcare facilities, and has spoken internationally on RMT. Brooke also values exceptional-quality continuing education for other MedSLPs, and seeks to improve our patient care by emphasizing the importance of understanding a patient's whole medical picture when evaluating and treating.

      • Passing score of 100% on a 5-10 question quiz. You will receive immediate feedback and be able to correct answers. We want to ensure that you have the correct information as presented in this course.
      • Quiz needs to be completed within 2 hours of end of course.

      For Access Pass subscribers: In the event that a course is canceled or rescheduled, no cash refund will be provided to subscribers of the Access Pass. Therapy Insights will work to reschedule the event, or create a new event within the same month. Therapy Insights guarantees access to one live course per month to all subscribers. In the highly unlikely event that this commitment is not met, subscribers will receive a 50% refund for that month’s subscription cost. Subscribers who are on an annual payment plan will receive a pro-rated refund for 50% of the cost of that month.

      All refunds will be provided within 30 days of time of cancellation.
